What does Kariaa do for employers?

How is Kariaa different from an applicant tracking system?
- An applicant tracking system stops at the offer. Kariaa carries the same record past it, into documents, shifts and payroll, and it brings its own candidate pool rather than only organising the applicants you already have.
Can Kariaa handle onboarding documents and payroll records?
- Yes. Onboarding documents, shift records and payroll information are held in the same workspace as the hire they belong to, with control over who on your team can see what.

What is Kariaa's recruiting service?
- It is recruiting run for you rather than software you operate yourself. Kariaa sources and screens candidates against your requirements and hands you a shortlist, instead of leaving you to work through inbound applications.
What roles does Kariaa recruit for?
- Shift work and certified trades as well as professional and technical roles. Kariaa searches across languages, which matters for roles where the strongest candidates are not applying in English.
How does the recruiting process work?
- You describe the role and its requirements. Kariaa searches its own candidate pool and beyond it, screens against what you asked for, and returns a shortlist you interview. You stay the decision-maker throughout.
How is recruiting priced?
- Pricing depends on the roles and the volume you are hiring for, so it is agreed per engagement. Get in touch through the recruiting page and Kariaa will quote against your actual requirement.

Which messaging apps can I use with Kariaa?
- Kariaa works over WhatsApp and Telegram. You message the assistant on whichever you already use, and there is nothing extra to install.
What can I actually do over chat?
- You can describe the work you want, have relevant opportunities surfaced from your profile and interests, apply to a role, answer an employer's follow-up questions, and share recordings where a role asks for them, all without leaving the conversation.
Does messaging Kariaa cost anything?
- No. The chat assistant is free to use for people looking for work. Standard message and data charges from your own network or messaging app still apply.
Do I still need an account if I only use chat?
- Yes. Chat is another way into the same account, so you still create a profile and verify it. Once that is done, the assistant works from your profile.
Do I need a resume to use Kariaa?
- You do not need a formal resume to get started. Your profile captures your experience, the kind of work you are looking for and where you can work. You can upload a resume and supporting documents if you have them, and they are reused across applications rather than re-uploaded each time.
Do I have to apply to each employer separately?
- No. That is the point of verifying your profile once. When you apply, your verified profile is submitted for you, so you are not retyping the same details into a new form for every role.
Do I need an account to browse opportunities?
- Yes. Opportunities are visible once you have created an account and completed profile verification. This keeps listings and applicant details out of public view, so signing in comes before browsing or applying.

DataHouse and paid tasks
What is Kariaa DataHouse?
- DataHouse is a paid task marketplace for expert work. Rather than applying for a job, you complete discrete tasks that need real domain knowledge or hands-on skill, submit them for review, and are paid for work that is accepted.
Who can take on DataHouse tasks?
- People with verified expertise in the field a task calls for. You complete your profile and verification first, then take on tasks that match what you actually know or can do.
How does a DataHouse task work?
- Each task sets out what is being asked for and what a complete submission looks like. You do the work, submit it with any recordings or files the task requires, and it goes to review. Accepted submissions are paid.
How am I paid for DataHouse work?
- Payment is per accepted submission and varies with the task, since tasks differ in scope and the expertise they need. Each task states what it pays before you start.
